Salvation*

What is Salvation?

-Salvation or 'being saved' is believing in God and in Jesus Christ and being in a personal relationship with Him, by accepting Jesus Christ as your savior.

***Salvation is also known as being BORN AGAIN.

**FAITH is the believing*

-A relationship with Jesus is the most important and fulfilling relationship you will ever have😊

Salvation ensures our souls to an eternal home in Heaven and allows the Holy Spirit to dwell within us.

The Bible tells us how to be saved in Romans chapter 10, verses 9 and 10

-It says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved. For with your heart, you believe unto righteousness and with your mouth confession is made to profess your faith and you are saved.

Jesus died for all of our sins, and he did this on the cross willingly. He also rose again from the dead so that we could be reborn and have a relationship with Him. He loves us that much!

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans chapter 5, verse 8

It's acknowledgment of true love that God shows us and realizing we are sinners in need of a savior. Jesus Christ is our Savior❤️

We are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. He cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

So, if you want to be saved and you believe, it's only a prayer away!😊

Just speak out in prayer to Jesus and confess to Him:

"Lord Jesus, I believe in you. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and that God raised you from the dead. I ask that you save my soul, Lord. I accept you into my heart and ask that you save me now in Jesus name."

If you pray that prayer and you believe and truly mean it, then YOU ARE SAVED! Praise the Lord! You are a child of God and are BORN AGAIN!

-And that is exactly what it is, born again. You are a new creature in Christ! The Bible says:

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold all things have become new."

2nd Corinthians 5:17

❤️We are sinners SAVED by GRACE. Thank you Lord, for your grace upon us!!❤️

Still unsure and thinking about it? Read below:

COME AS YOU ARE

You do not have to "be perfect" or change anything before you come to Christ. When you feel that pull to be saved and you feel that conviction, He wants you to come as you are. If you are struggling with something, living in sin, wrestling with addiction, whatever it is, come to Christ anyway. He will take care of all of that for you! Like the song, "Mary had a little lamb who washed us white as snow" It's exactly like that, His blood washes us and cleanses us of the sin in our life. He is the one who sets us free. We can't do it without Him.

BORN AGAIN

When we get saved, we become born again. Just like a baby, we are new in Christ, and we start to learn more of Him every day. We don't have to have everything all figured out because, after being born again, the spirit of God, (the Holy Ghost/ Holy Spirit) now dwells within us, to teach us and guide us. He gives us peace, joy, and understanding.

The Holy Spirit

The Spirit of God that dwells within us after salvation is also known as the Holy Ghost and our COMFORTER. He literally comforts us and helps us by teaching us, guiding us, and giving us wisdom.

Draw Closer to Him

To know the heart of God, it is important to get into the Word- (The Bible). He speaks to us through prayer and through the WORD. His Spirit helps us understand the things that we did not see before. Getting into the Word is so important.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God."

John chapter 1, verses 1-3

If you don't already have a relationship with Jesus, I encourage you to be saved today!😊

You will be so happy that you did!

I'm so thankful that He saved my soul, and He can save yours too!😊
