*The Little Things*

Mornings are my favorite time to spend with the Lord. This morning, He brought something to my remembrance and I was led to share it.
There was one morning after my devotion with Jesus, I began to get ready for the day. Enjoying my coffee, moisturizing my face, putting on my lip-gloss, brushing my hair, and all the girly things that I love to do........and then it hit me:
I have so many blessings.

I had always prayed and said, "Thank you for my blessings" but that particular morning, it hit differently. I asked myself, "Are you truly thankful for the little things too?"
I thought of the people in the world who were going through hardships. Some people do not even have a home to wake up in, to enjoy a cup of coffee while starting their day. I started to feel a bit guilty for the privileges that I do have, because I saw that I may be taking for granted all the things that I enjoy, without realizing it.
I began to pray. I told God that I was so thankful for everything and to help me never take anything for granted.
*THANK HIM FOR THE LITTLE THINGS TOO*
I remember when I was a little girl, watching my mama fixing her hair and she she would be talking to the Lord. She would say, "Thank you Lord for waking me up, thank you for my brush, and my hairspray. God is so good!"
I remember thinking, "Why thank Him for little things like that?"
Back then, I thought being thankful was only for the "big stuff,"
Like: Answered prayers, healing from sickness, and miracles. As I got older and drew closer to the Lord, I saw the importance of appreciating the little things too. They truly are blessings.
*LIVE A LIFESTYLE OF GRATITUDE*
Ever since that morning, I try to wake up every day thanking the Lord. I thank Him for waking me up, for my coffee, and for all of the girly things that I don't even need, but am so blessed to have.
This helps me remain thankful and keeps me focused on Him.
Even when life gets me down sometimes, I remember my blessings. I just start praising Him, for
my washer and dryer, my car, gas, electricity, literally EVERYTHING❤️
Even the privilege to paint my nails. Doing this daily has wonderfully changed my life.

I realized that a LIFESTYLE OF GRATITUDE renews my mind every day to be positive. It refreshes my soul so much and keeps me humble.
Let's remember to be thankful for all of our blessings every day, even the little things❤️It is so good for the heart and mind😊 God is so good!
"Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing.
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
1st Thessalonians chapter 5, verses 16-18
Have a blessed day!
